Meet my lightweight three-wheeled electric cargo bike designed for everyday use!

  1. Exceptionally good riding characteristics: the special rear suspension allows the bike to lean when cornering and keep it straight even on uneven road.
  2. Due to the recumbent design, its center of gravity is low.
  3. The sloping, streamlined windshield and roof protect in all weather conditions, but the exterior dimensions are still relatively small.
  4. With the solar panels and the MPPT charge controller, the battery is constantly charged, and after shorter distances, it is not necessary to charge from the electrical network.


Due to its unique rear suspension, it was named after the Swahili word "bembea", which means "swing".

I am Zoltán Papp, a bicycle designer as mechanical engineer, and the inventor of bembea.bike.
During the development, I tried to utilize my experience gained from regularly using cargo bikes and thereby create a particularly user-friendly design. 

The cargo bike is currently in the testing phase following the construction of the first functional prototype.
The version optimized for series production is expected to be ready by early 2026.
I look forward to hearing from potential partners and investors.
